Encourage people to Know more, with Workplace Learning!

Being curious is good – it shows that one is interested to know more. It is also a trait that gives rise to an eagerness to learn new things. Workplace from Meta is a platform that encourages being curious. It also has set up many ways to assist in learning and empower the members in any organisation.

We, as Adosphere - Workplace from Meta Partner are trying to do our part well. We are doing our best to ensure that organisations put an emphasis on the need for sharing information. It promotes learning, which in turn leads to progress and development.

Can’t find relevant information?

No matter what the scenario is, there is always room for acquiring new knowledge. With the scope for information so high in an organisation, and also the availability being equally high, the biggest issue is how much of it is one able to understand. With the help of the “LEARNING” feature of the Workplace from Meta platform, this issue has been reduced to a minimum - as it allows Admins to test the knowledge and learning of the members.

Distribute all information and test learning!

  • With the Learning feature, Workplace from Meta admins can now “create, label and curate learning content”. It lets an organisation collect related educational posts inside of a group and put them into a unit. These units are different topics that can be made for gathering posts like training material, educational information, and development of resources.
  • With it, a company can effortlessly educate all its employees about a lot of things, like the company culture, the vision, some useful posts for employee onboarding or learning, development opportunities, new features, and many more things. Not just educate, but also test the learning - with the help of taking tests and quizzes about the Units added.
  • Take, for instance, a company that has recently updated its whole software. With it, there is a need of educating all of its employees about all the new updates and developments. The executives initially thought of holding a seminar, but that would be time consuming. With that in mind, the IT department made a quick decision.
  • They worked hard and designed ‘how-to’ guides about the features of the new software, put them in a unit, uploaded them on the company group, and instructed the employees to go through it. After that, they created a quiz to test the understanding of the employees regarding the same, and then proceeded accordingly after knowing the results.
  • In order to be able to create a Learning unit, the following steps have to be followed –   Go to the group you want to enable Learning for > Find the post you want to add and click on the down arrow icon
  • Then, click Add to Learning Unit > Enter the name of the unit > Click Create

The Learning tab will appear in a group as soon as there is a Learning unit in it. Some facts to take into consideration are that Learning can be used only after a Group Admin enables the feature, and that only Group Admins can create and edit learning units.

Organisations relying on “Learning” makes the actual learning simple, accessible and easy for the members! It’s not just the Learning feature – Workplace from Meta is a platform that puts people first, and thus has multiple features that make life easy in the professional arena.
