Verification, huh! Probably the most desired recognition in today’s time. From the people who don’t even know how to use the phones correctly to the tech savvy, Instagram has almost every single type of people giving it a diverse user base. Be it a musician, an actor, a content creator, and so many more, everyone wants to get that blue symbol of fame. But, how do you do that? Well, let's look into it;
Anyone can get verified on Instagram. But, Instagram is quite selective about who gets the verified badge and who doesn’t. So, how do you do it? First of all, you must make sure you’re in compliance with their Terms of Use and their Community Guidelines, and if this is in place then you gotta make sure that you’ve got the following things followed:
Uniqueness: Only one identity of the person or a business can get a verification; with exceptional protocols for language-specific accounts.
You’ve got to make sure that the account is public as private Instagram accounts cannot get verified.
Some fundamental things that have to be kept completed i.e. the profile picture, Instagram bio, and at least one photo posted.
One of the most important and basic things. Are you, registered business or a brand authentic/real. I mean come on, a fan page can’t get verified, right!
Instagram is quite subjective because here Instagram defines who is a notable name, “Well-Known”, and how strongly they are searched for.
So, I think this pretty much covers it up. If you’re confident in the phenomenon that your or a registered business or brand meet the above criteria, then you can even apply for verification to Instagram.
